Jennifer Lier

Singer / Dancer

The stunning, effervescent hostess and organizer caught the entertainment bug early. Lier recalls watching the Miss America pageant and wondering what it would be like to wear a swimsuit in front of people—to feel that confident, to be that happy. A decade later—after winning a battle with her weight, losing 100 pounds at age 18—“everything I really focused on and daydreamed about as a kid started coming true,” she recalls. She won the titles of Miss Las Vegas and Miss Nevada and the talent portion of the Miss America competition.

In fact, Lier’s career has been one of constant transformation. In her time as a performer, she has sung in Las Vegas lounges; toured the world in Legends in Concert, opening for people like Wayne Newton and Don Rickles; and headlined a one-woman show in Vegas showrooms. She even became a renowned Marilyn Monroe impersonator. She channels all the show-business lessons she has learned into another recent role, as a motivational speaker, aiding women with confidence issues. “I love helping women realize themselves,” she says.

Sheppard began studying ballet dancing at age 9 and went on to perform in Denmark, France and South Africa.[1]

In 1985, she released a 2-track record single in France entitled Action.[2][3]

Also while in France, she worked as a Fashion Model, modeling the fashions of Karl Lagerfeld, Christian Dior, and Jean-Paul Gaultier.[1]

She was Penthouse magazine's Pet of the Month for April 1988. In 2005, in The Erotic Thriller in Contemporary Cinema, Linda Ruth Williams cited Sheppard and Kira Reed as examples of actresses who worked " B-scale erotic thrillers at the fringes of Hollywood, the obvious trajectory for a strip-circuit veteran (DTV [direct-to-video] divas Kira Reed and Delia Sheppard both started as showgirls.)"[4]

Her acting roles include appearances in such movies as The Doors, Rocky V, Any Given Sunday, Mirror Images and Night Rhythms.[5]

In more recent years, Sheppard has worked as a showgirl in Las Vegas, performing in such shows as Splash and Showgirl Follies, Life in Feathers and Rhinestones.[6]
